the city, looking for letters! Good for adults as well as children. I highly recommend. great gift even for natives.
Just saw this book in the store and decided to get it on ... What a great way to see Denver! I am going to use this book to explore with my daughter. The pictures are wonderful! It made me think about all the art around me. And now I am looking for letters in every thing I see. I highly recommend this book for children of all ages as a way to explore and see Denver.
What a treat to find a book that provides a fun way to spend time with your family. Searching for alphabet like characters in your city is so uniquely fun, that I can't believe that someone else didn't think of this before Kitty. Its a cool book and you should own one if you have a family!!
The book is actually alphabet in Denver architecture but you could easily transform this for any other city. Great book!!!
What a clever and creative read for children and for families. Kids can enjoy it by themselves and a family can have a wonderful time sharing about Denver. The format is electric! A great find for families trying to instill love of literacy in their children. Literacy rocks!

This awesome book incorporates so many interesting learning tools that it is difficult to know where to start.
First, the hunt for the letters. (how many adults have noticed them)?
Second, the different types of poetry-what a learning experience. How many adults are aware of the many types of poetry available to us?
Third, the opportunity to learn how to geocach. A fun hobby that increases knowledge.
Fourth, the amazing pictures that give one another perspective for looking at the world. Maybe even encourage some budding photographers!
I heartily recommend this book to everyone who would like to explore their City and view it with a new awareness.

Wow--what an amazing book that author Kitty Magaki has created. The "alphabet" isn't just for little ones...if you are in Denver, CO, think about creating a family scavenger hunt in the glorious city of Denver--finding "parts" of the city that are the perfect "H" or the perfect "M"--included are GPS markers and map markings. This is a smart book--ideal for families, teachers, schools. Kids and adults open their eyes, their minds, their creativity. I got it for my 24 year old grandson for Christmas...he and his pals made a Sunday hunt and had a great time. Highly recommended!

Thought this book was very innovative and educational. Good for all ages. In addition, the website offers lots of games etc you can chose to do. Kitty has done a fantastic job. It is really fun finding all the locations where the letters were photographed!
